The unique natural setting at Staglands Wildlife Reserve is the perfect venue for birthday parties, engagement parties, weddings, christmas functions, corporate functions or your next special event or celebration! Whether your function is an intimate gathering of 10 in the log building café or a larger celebration held in The Barn, Staglands offers everything you need for a most memorable occasion!
The Barn
The Barn can fit up to 150 guests standing and 90 seated.
Available during the day for all park visitors to use The Barn is great for picnics or small groups and there are BBQ facilities which can be used free of charge.
It has a spacious indoor setting that flows out the barn doors to a large outdoor area overlooking the picturesque pond and waterfall. There is also a bar area, rustic feasting tables and an outdoor fire pit to congregate around. There is also room for entertainment such as a band.
Costs to hire The Barn
The Barn is available for all groups and families to use during the day, however you can also hire it out exclusivel:
From 10am - 5pm
$80 per hour + admission
After 5pm
$80 per hour + $30 per hour security charge. If we do the catering we may waive the security charge. After midnight it is $150 per hour + $30 per hour security charge.
Minimum 3 hour hire applies.

To hire The Barn exclusively
The Barn is ideal for a large group. If you would like to hire it out exclusively for your Christmas party the cost is $800 in the six weekends prior to Christmas. However:
If the total admission paid by your group is over $800 the hire fee is waived OR;
If the total admission paid by your group is under $800 only the $800 hire fee is charged
Santa can also arrive on the donkey & cart if you'd like him to!

Hire of the Cafe
Includes the adjascent BBQ deck and outdoor area if required and/or a separate room in the cafe. Can fit up to 100 people standing and 60 seated inside. 80 seated outside.
From 10am - 5pm
$80 per hour. This does not include admission to the reserve.
5pm - 10pm
$80 per hour + $30 per hour security charge. If we do the catering we may waive the security charge.
Minimum of 3 hour hire applies.
*May not be available during weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

BBQ Deck beside Cafe
Remember - The Barn is available for all visitors to use, however if you find it's been booked out exclusivley and you still want to come up but cannot afford to pay hireage, then the BBQ deck could be perfect.
This is available on a first-in, first-serve basis. It's ideal for groups of 20 - 30 (depends on how many children you have).

Please note the following with regards to all hire information above:
All prices include GST. A 50% deposit is required. Surcharge may apply during public holiday weekends. No BYO alcohol. A $60 clean up fee applies if self catering - we also have crockery available for hire. Minimum numbers may apply.
