Staglands part of Entirely World Famous Tour
18 May 2010
Nicquel Rhoden has been travelling New Zealand for the past three months as part of a tourism promotion to Australia. On her final trip through Wellington she visited Staglands Wildlife Reserve and had the opportunity to get up close & personal with the wildlife.

Australian visitors are part of a growing market for New Zealand so the visit to Staglands was an opportunity to showcase what the local Upper Hutt region has to offer to our neighbour’s ‘across the ditch’.

Cruising on a Sunday afternoon
We recently had the pleasure of hosting the Wellington Corvette Club who stopped off for lunch in our café. The scenic Akatarawa Road is a great drive for car enthusiasts to take a leisurely cruise on a weekend and then meet at Staglands.

If you belong to a local club/association have you considered meeting in our café or taking a look through the reserve and using The Barn for bigger groups? All visitors are welcome to use The Café without having to pay to enter the park
