Wildlife Park Assistant-Animals and Birds
Full Time, Permanent Position
We are looking for someone with proven experience with wildlife (birds and animals). The successful person will be responsible for all the day to day management of the livestock at the park.
This will include:
- Routine feeding twice a day
- Keeping the enclosures clean and tidy
- Ensuring the health and wellbeing of the livestock
- Implementing breeding programs
- Basic maintenance of enclosures
This work will be carried out under the guidance of the current management
You will be part of a small team that works together to ensure Staglands delivers a high quality visitor experience. You must be able to communicate with our customers and enjoy the chance to share your knowledge and experience with them.
You need to be fit and health. Able to work outside in all weather and have a good work record. A reliable vehicle is essential and the job involves weekend work.
