School Groups
Staglands Wildlife Reserve provides a wonderful educational environment offering many hands on experiences that cannot be replicated in the classroom. Bookings are essential and it is highly recommended that you book as early as possible to ensure that your preferred date is available. Click here to contact us.
Your group can use The Barn as a central point and you are welcome to bring your own lunch or we can provide BBQ sausages with bread, drinks and ice cream for $5 per person.
There is plenty of room for parking cars and buses and our Staglands Café is open every day, so the parents and teachers can get a well earned coffee.

Conservation Week for schools at Staglands
13th - 17th September 2010
The theme this year: "show how much you love New Zealand"
Find out what's so special about our native wildlife and the natural world that surrounds us. When you book in a school visit during Conservation Week we will provide a fun, hands-on learning experience for your students that cannot be replicated in the classroom.
One of our experienced park managers will provide a talk and discuss what it is that you love about New Zealand.

Special School Rates
We have a special school rate of $6.00 for adults and children available to the following groups:
• Pre-school groups
• Schools (including secondary)
• School holiday programs - CHECK OUT OUR SPECIAL PACKAGE FOR THE SEPT/OCT SCHOOL HOLIDAYS 2010
• Special needs and disabled groups
Please note the following conditions apply:
• Not available to pre-schools and schools during weekends and holidays
• Under fours in a pre-school group are $6.00
• Pre-school groups must pay as a group and not individually

Other Groups
Our wildlife park offers a discounted entry fee for groups of 10 people or more. Staglands in the Akatarawa Valley is the perfect location for a group visit whether it is simply for a fun day out with extended family, a club outing or a get-together with friends or colleagues.
Don’t forget Staglands is well equipped as a conference or day seminar venue and for special occasions such as children’s birthday parties special events and for weddings and receptions!
Group bookings are essential and you must pay as a group in order to receive a discount.
