We are getting fantastic feedback about our new off-road tractor-trailer rides, so much, in fact, that we have decided to continue to offer them ABSOLUTELY FREE to all our visitors until further notice!!

One of our rare Arapawa island nanny goats has given birth to a healthy kid. Thought to number less than 400 worldwide, the New Zealand Arapawa goat is one of the rarest goat breeds in the world and critically close to extinction.

We have recently welcomed a pair of Emu chicks, the largest bird in Australia, and the second largest in the world after the ostrich.

Other recent arrivals are a pair of Auckland Island pigs. They have come from another reserve to help increase the gene pool of this rare breed here at Staglands.
