We are looking for a bright, energetic person to coordinate the running of our café and to continue developing our functions market. You will need proven customer service skills and will work closely with the marketing manager to develop and maintain the “customer experience” at Staglands.
A background in either tourism or hospitality would be preferred. Ideally you will have the following skills however we are happy to train someone who is keen to learn and develop their skills:
- Ordering and stock control
- Cooking cabinet food
- Developing and costing menus
- Motivating and directing staff
- Training new staff
- Developing and implementing food safety program
- Facilitating and managing functions and other group visits
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Good time management
- Ability to manage conflicting demands on your time
You will need to get your duty manager certificate and must have good up to date computer skills.
It will be your responsibility to ensure the kitchen is maintained to its current high standard. To achieve this you must be organised, with good work habits and be able to complete your duties in the required time-frames.
To become part of the team here your CV should demonstrate a steady work record and have at least two references. Your normal working week will be Sun-Thu, with some evening function work during the summer season.
