Children's Day - Covid 19 Update 5th March 2021
The Wellington Region will move to alert level 1 at 6am on Sunday morning and Staglands Wildlife Reserve will be going ahead with our Children’s Day Celebration on Sunday 7th March.
Our Lunchtime Feed Tour, Tractor-Trailer Rides and Junior Ranger Experience were suspended on Sunday 28 February when we entered alert level 2 and will not recommence until until week commencing 8th March, therefore, despite this move to alert level 1, we will not be running tractor trailer rides this Children's Day.
Rest assured we continue to work hard to ensure Staglands is a safe environment for everyone:
• Hand sanitisers will be available throughout The Reserve
• We ask visitors to continue to keep track of their movements by signing in using the NZ Covid-19 tracer app.
As an outdoor destination with acres of wide-open spaces, we encourage you to visit us. As long as you are feeling healthy and well and are not in self-isolation, our reserve is a wonderful place to get outside in the countryside on Children’s Day and spend some time with friends, whānau and our amazing birds & animals.
(*Children's Day offer is not available with any other offer. Children (0-16 years) must be accompanied by paying adult)
